Granite City Park
What people are saying
Really nice park, with colorful Adirondack chairs down by the water and historic information about the park itself. I will add more images when I find them - I have many.
Beautiful waterfront park, and home to the city’s annual celebration.
This has been our favorite spot while vacationing in the area. The water view needs no explanation, the seats are colorful + comfortable, plenty of parking and close to downtown. There is also a little trail near lined with gardening. The connecting peer below is wonderful, can easily dip your feet in the water and enjoy the summer weather. Get some ice cream and check this park out!
This is a nice park to sit in the colorful Adirondack chairs. Sitting there, you can watch the fish jump and ducks and other birds on the water. It is a nice quiet place to rest. They have a couple of port-a-potties on site. It is located within walking distance to all of the great restaurants that Hallowell has to offer. There are many other businesses also close by.
Great place to spend a summer day/evening. Lots of comfy seats along the river, and there are even porta-potties .
