this morning on 6/1/2024 my in laws, husband, and myself walked into Gulf Shores Diner. the first thing I observed was the hostess was frazzled. she took our name to get a table and took off. she was everywhere all at once. she was acting as a waitress and a hostess. the second thing I observed, as we were waiting on a table (multiple were open) is that the other individuals that were waiters were the slowest moving human beings alive. our hostess was the only employee that seemed to have a pulse! I give all my respect to this lady. however, we waited in the lobby so long we were thinking about going some place else, however we were so hungry we didn’t even care. we finally were sat in a booth and were served rather quickly, and the food was delicious. (as you can see I didn’t get a picture of the food (lol). other than the slow seating time, and the other employees not having a pulse. it was a great experience. just need a few new people to help out the hostess lady so she doesn’t have to run the place by herself.

The food was good and service was great. Overall great value! However, they didn't have steak in stock and the fryers weren't working so options were limited.

We enjoyed our trip here, we ordered the Five Star breakfast which was according to my wife a 5/5. I had the Meat Lovers omelet and I added onions to it and it was AMAZING. Wanted to try more because they offer a lot, but definitely coming back. Also thanks Andrew! You were awesome.

Not impressed! I ordered Corn Beef Hash with a side of Gravy, and a biscuit. Waitress wanted to know if I wanted the hash browns crispy, and I said "Yes." That was the last time I saw my waitress until about 15 minutes after I finished my meal. When my meal finally arrived everything except for the eggs and hash browns looked like it was from a can. Corned Beef Hash looked and tasted like it had been dumped from a can. The biscuit was split and toasted and was a clump of flour. I'm sure the gravy was canned. The eggs were perfect. The hash browns were crispy. I really was hoping that this would be a good breakfast spot, but I'll look elsewhere.

I recently visited the Gulf Shores Diner with some friends and was blown away by the incredible service we received! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience. The menu offered a wide variety of options, and we were delighted by the diverse selection of dishes available. When it came time to order, our server was not only attentive but also knowledgeable about the menu. I asked for a recommendation, and she suggested the strawberry cheesecake pancakes with eggs, a meat and a side. Let me tell you, they were absolutely divine! Each bite was a burst of flavor, and I couldn’t get enough. Overall, our visit to The Gulf Shores Diner is now one of my new favorite places. The combination of exceptional service and delectable food made for an unforgettable dining experience. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommended!
