Gold Star
What people are saying
Gold Star Chili was quite busy on this Sunday afternoon. This was our first time having it and it was not bad. We ordered the 3 way kids meal, hot dog kids meal, garlic Parmesan fries and 3 way vegetarian spaghetti. The garlic fries were my favorite, the vegetarian chili was different from what I’m used to being from Texas— but I would order it again. The kids meal came with a drink, fries, and a snack which I thought was nice. Judy assisted us at the register and even though it was super busy she was still polite and got our order in correctly. There were about 4 other ladies working, and they all were working so hard, thank you ladies so much for all you do.
Was in town and c’mon, I had to try it. This was the first meal I had after I landed. Not as good as people from Cincinnati say it is. And definitely not as bad as everywhere else says it is. It was fine. I’m glad I ate it but I probably won’t be ordering it again.
Id never been to a gold star before (I always go to Skyline instead) but I was connecting through the airport and figured I'd give this a shot. It's probably the best airport food I've ever had - I didn't even make it to the plane before finishing everything!
Ok so it is my fault I didn’t order anything else… went with the healthy option😩 the “grilled chicken” sold me but pretty sure it was from a can.
While at The Cincinnati Airport, I needed a quick light lunch and I didn't want a burger and fries before flying. I had recently had a five-way chili at another Gold Star and saw that restaurant in the airport. The very friendly staff at Gold Star Chili recommended the Gorito. I added their sweet tea and it was the perfect lunch I was looking for. They also offer burgers so if I see a Gold Star Chili restaurant, you won't see me waiting in line with 30 people for the M.
