A nice memorial park to pay respect. It’s close to walking trails. The VFW post 4719 is near by as well.
My Wife wanted a place to spin some poke stops and hack some ingress portals. This place is peaceful with easy access.
Very nice Veterans Memorial plaza. Well developed for a smaller community like Gahanna! There isn't much shade, but it does offer a nice area by the creek to reflect on the sacrifices others have made for our freedoms!
First time we attended the Gahanna Farmers Market, which restarted after a several year hiatus. It's small but nice with a variety of vendors including, vegetables, eggs, honey, jellies, fudge, soaps, candles, bakery goods, and meat. We bought Belgian waffles and honey...both excellent. There was a musician, food trucks, and the tent where old men offered free and useless advice. You get what you pay for they told me. I guess that was my advice!! :-) Its a nice place to relax and socialize.
