Flying Star Cafe

My kids and I got two green Chilli cheese burgers and fish and chips. The burger were pretty good except for a random piece of old lettuce on both burgers and the meat needed a bit more seasoning. The fish and chips were $20.00 and were a decent size. My daughter loved it. The fries were good and really fresh. Overall the food was really expensive. We spent a total of $55.00 for the food after tip and all. They got desert for another 16.00. So pretty expensive overall. The atmosphere is probably one of the best and my kids loved it more than most places. There was a guy that was serving us seemed upset but was actually really nice.
The Flying Star Cafe is a neat place to grab a bite to eat. There's a lot of open space and it would be a great place to spend a long lunch with friends, or have a working lunch with colleagues. I had a great green chile cheeseburger with a peach tea. I also got a couple of desserts from their awesome bakery for the road. So far I've only enjoyed the carrot cake - which was incredible.
Fantastic food, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The green chili burger is amazing! The loaded fries and Mac-and-cheese are great picks, too. If you don't know what level of pepper to get, ask for "Christmas on the side."
Studied here several times since I live a walk away. Mostly ordered pots of tea but decided to have breakfast once and was surprised by a thick breakfast burrito. You bet I enjoyed that thing. Waitresses/Waiters are good at what they do. Neat place.
I stopped in yesterday to try the place out for the first time. The prices were outrageous. But I ordered anyway thinking it’ll be a great breakfast if they have the nerve to charge so much. I was wrong. The staff seemed very unwelcoming. The food was blah. I didn’t even try to finish it. My eggs were cold and runny, burnt toast. Coffee was so so. Feeling like I got ripped off. Why are you so expensive?? Why don’t you train the staff to act like they want to be there? I assume the staff is very well paid considering how expensive your menu is. For the price of your breakfast’s you should have a CIA chef preparing orders. Not coming back. No reason to
