What people are saying
We booked a stay for 5 nights. The first night we checked in, our room smelled of mold and urine. We asked for a change of rooms but unfortunately they were booked for the night which was fine that was out of their control. The second night the smell was unbearable. Fortunately, the front desk clerk that night, was able to give us another room that had just cleared up and they cleaned so we could move out of the room with the smell. It was very helpful and we were happy with the change but we were unable to stay in that room for the remainder of our stay. However they said they would upgrade us to another room after that night for the rest of the stay. Again, very helpful staff. The morning of the third day, we went to the front desk to change rooms to the upgraded room, got our keys, and went to the room and found bedbugs in the air conditioner. We immediately went back down and asked for a full refund for our last two nights and the remainder of our stay. The refund was granted. The quality of this hotel is disgusting but the people who work there were incredibly kind and very helpful. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed in. you walk in and get hit with a horrible smell both in the lobby and even worse in the rooms and bathrooms. small lobby so just a few people cause a huge traffic jam trying to get in and out of the hotel. the room had a foot sized hole in the carpet that my family kept tripping over the entire stay. the fold out mattress was coated in mold which the entire hotel room and bathroom stank of mold and mildew. it was very humid in the hotel despite the a/c running probably causing the mold. the king bed felt damp from the humidity in the room. very little to pick from for the breakfast. even after i’ve come home and washed all our things the smell of the hotel still hasn’t gone away. would not stay at any fairfield ever again
Room 207.......gross. 2 dead bugs on the floor, hair on the bathroom floor, smells moldy. Staff, kind and intelligent about the local restaurants. Breakfast, on par with the best of the Fairfield chain.
Exceptional. I did the reservation online the same day. They had Plenty of rooms at the last minute. We had to asked for a different room after we were put by the elevator & we were accommodated with no problem. Staff was friendly & the desk clerk was very polite.
I think it's a bad idea To not supply privacy shears with another hotel so close. To expect guests to put on trash can liners. To not keep shower essentials filled and then offer a too-little-to-late cheaper alternative. Add to this a bare number of towels, so retaking a shower is a pain.
