This is (probably) the best choice, while you want to stay in lower Manhattan. It's an old school, traditional Wall street hotel and while it might lack modern furnitures, our stay was great due to the size of the room (which is really big for Manhattan), cleanliness and amazing staff - by July 2024 the hotel has great staff to work there - extremely service minded, helpful and respectful people. Location is good, many subway lines are within the reach on foot. Despite of the fact, that we lived in the center of lower Manhattan it was very quite in the room. Breakfast was very good, and not too busy in comparison to other NYC hotels. Warm recommendations from a family with 3 children.
I like my stay here, location is great! Located in the financial district of Manhattan, close to the water and piers! Subway not to far away. The room was out dated but I think they are renovating the hotel so fingers crossed 🤞. Room was cleaned daily, fresh linen and towels. For my stay in June 2024 I payed around 1300 USD for 6 nights.
I stayed in this hotel in March 2020 about two weeks before the world was thrown into lockdown hell. The cleanliness, facilities, location etc are all sound. My room was spacious, it was nice. Everything was rather immaculate except for one thing, the customer service. About a day before I was due to leave, I was resting in my room and the cleaners were knocking on my door, wanting to clean it. I kindly asked if they could come back at another time to which they complied. Minutes later the manager arrives behind my door demanding that I should let the cleaners into my room. We basically argued about it with me refusing to let the cleaners in because I wasn’t ready. The manager walked off cursing at me under her breath. This is rude, disrespectful and totally unprofessional behaviour and it’s unacceptable. I admit I may have made things difficult for the cleaners but there was no need for such hostility by the manager of all people. So unfortunately I have to give this hotel a low rating. Maybe if she was nice and polite to me whilst speaking to me behind the door I’d actually comply and let the cleaners in. Oh well.
We had a great stay at Eurostars Wall St. The location was close to the subway, the New York Stock Exchange and Liberty Park, the staff were friendly and helpful, room was clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. A special thank you to Jorge for assisting us with our parcel delivery issues, we are very grateful for the effort he has put in!
The room had some wear and tear, but it was spotless. The customer service is excellent! We didn't have breakfast. I caught a glimpse of it, and it looked nice. We will be back and will stay in this hotel again.
