EPIC Theatres at Oakleaf
What people are saying
Very nice and helpful staff. I bought out one of the theaters for a few of my family members so we could enjoy a movie together. The seat reclined, very roomie, also handicap accessible with a elevator.
We always come to Epic when we want to see a movie in a theater. We hadn't in a long time due to the pandemic, but we realized that it's an experience we missed. We usually go to the early evening/late afternoon show (5 p.m.-ish) and there's not ever many people - only a handful. Sadly, it looks like this tradition is fading out due to home theaters and streaming. Yes, we have all that and more at home, too. Some movies are just better on the HUGE SCREEN. The seats recline and are very comfortable. The popcorn is so good!! I don't know why - and yes I know it's not healthy BUT IT'S OH SO GOOD! 😍😋😁 Overall, a clean place with good but pricey concessions. Adding up the tickets, food, time and gas makes me realize why it's going out of style. Much cheaper to stay home BUT for a date it's perfect. Costs about $60 for everything for two people and that's sharing popcorn and a drink.
First, they treat you like the place is some kind of secret club by making you scan your ticket as soon as you walk through the door. Then, when you finally get to your seat, it is ripped like the couch in a tweaker's home. For how much the tickets cost, this is unacceptable. Do better.
The Experience was alright but the sound was so low in the theater. I could barely hear the movie? You would expect to actually hear the movie when you see it. So I went to see Deadpool vs Wolverine and only could really hear the music scenes. So next time I will talk to the person in charge b4 I actually go in the movie
Let me start off by saying, that epic theatres has gotten bad. I needed help with paying for my ticket. The young man up front told me to go to the kiosk. I still needed help, but he was rude. After that, I went to buy some food. The check out section is self served! What is the world coming to? And on top of that, the reclining seats in the theatres were unable to work. The seats were ripped apart too!
