Days Inn by Wyndham Phoenix North
What people are saying
We stay here quite often and never have any issues. Staff is always excellent. They go above and beyond. The place is always clean. They just got new mattresses for the place (I was there when they arrived and got installed). Rates are usually pretty good. Close to food and convenience stores.
First thing.. deposit not disclosed with Internet booking...git to room smelled horrible 🤢 not even the fan circulating air in there...so hot!! Not in room 5 minutes and husband was bit by bed bug!!! 😱😡. He and I are both highly allergic to their bites... front desk was not friendly but accommodating to switch rooms promptly... then new room is upstairs and NO ELEVATOR 🤬🤬 husband has a prosthetic hip and I have nerve damage to left leg. So stairs are difficult and we had several large bags !! Not happy 😡
Will return because of proximity to where we wanted to be. Overall, the hotel is in an excellent location off of Hwy 17 for easy access to hiking, shopping and restaurants. I felt safe in the neighborhood so went walking alone during our day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with a TV, iron & boards, fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfortable. Linens were clean and replaced with fresh ones during our stay. The breakfast was good including coffee, tea, juice, waffles, fresh bananas and apples, Aussie Bites, pastries, toast with butter and jelly, cereal and cow’s milk. We used the hot-tub but the pool was not heated (in March) so felt too cold to me. However, we noticed there were kids enjoying it. There was no gym or workout room. Ice is available next to the washer, dryer and vending machines.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Ac units blow cold rooms are. Clean and comfortable. I even had a little Jerri springer moment with the in laws stirring the pot causing a mini scene. I was mortified. However the staff was comforting and helpful and didn’t make me feel the slightest judged
It was our first stay here. Our room was clean and comfortable. The reservation said the room had a coffee maker, but they don't have them any more in the rooms. There was supposed to be a hairdryer, but i had to ask for that at the front desk. The king bed was firm and comfortable. It looked like the room had just been painted and the bathroom just remodeled. The carpet and curtains were old. They needed to be replaced. The hotel was over priced for what we got. The clerk didn't speak very good English. The hotel Coffee is horrible!
