Called this location as it is 24 hours, and i needed to get important patient information, for a patient at this pharmacy. After waiting on hold a man answered the phone and before I could get out what i needed i was placed on hold without being told another 10-15 minutes went by and the same man picked up, i started to explain why i was calling and he hung up on me. I understand the pharmaceutical business and know how busy retail is, however it is very unprofessional and shows lack of compassion towards sick patients. I will be following up with this matter, with a call to corporate tomorrow
I wasn't able to get the name of the pharmacist handling my prescription, but he was the most unhelpful pharmacist I've ever encountered. My issue was an easily resolved issue within their own computers, but the pharmacist refused to let me give him the information he needed and also refused to talk to my physician until I went and stood there in person. Thankfully another staff member was willing to actually answer the phone and put my physician on with the pharmacist. After almost two hours dealing with the situation, the pharmacist then decided it was time to tell me they didn't even have the medication in stock. I will be calling CVS corporate about his behavior - he was also incredibly rude to the physician. Thankfully at another location in downtown Boston they were able to quickly (15 minutes) resolve the issue in their computer system and get my medication prescribed. Downtown Crossing CVS also attempted to call the Nahatan location for some information and no one answered the phone, which seems to be a normal thing for them.
I went to CVS on Nahatan Street in Norwood around midnight to get a few pills to tide me over until I could refill my anxiety medication. Unfortunately, I encountered a pharmacist named Edd who was very rude and unhelpful. He wouldn't even speak to me properly when I dropped off my prescription, and he threw the medication bottle at me when I handed it to him. Later, when he told me they had emailed my doctor to renew my prescription, he yelled at me for no reason. When I asked for his name, he rudely replied "Edd" with a mean look on his face. This experience was really upsetting and I felt compelled to share it.
Nathan the pharmacist is so RUDEnn he needs to learn how to talk to people or just don’t answer the phone and stick to putting pills in bottles!!! Also he and his staff should read scripts better because they fill your prescription with the WRONG thing!!! Careful people it could be dangerous!!!
Pharmacy is fine but since most items are now locked or an alarm goes off because item is behind plexi I’ll just order from Amazon. More of a hassle to go there….
