The service is terrible, since they give GoodRx coupons and in order to apply you have to get out of line and wait a long time for them to serve you or they simply tell you that if you don't want to wait you have to pay the full cost of the medicine, so why give coupons if the intention is that you get tired of waiting and pay the full cost. It is the worst attention I have ever received.
Supervisor on duty was a African American women, what I endure made me feel like this will be the cause of me going to jail. It took GOD to keep me together!! My son 14 years old type 1 diabetic needed insulin. It was time for his refill, for a year an half he received Admelog brand insulin. This pharmacist tells me not only does his insurance no longer approve the Admelog brand, but he would need to start using the syringe instead of the pen. This was misinformation. Although, the brand changed he was still approved to use the pen. This lady mumble about being hungry, standing on her feet all day and her coffee going cold. This was more important than customer care. I have empathy, and I can see how the pharmacist at times are short staffed, but where is the fire to go the extra miles. Not only did she careless. Her assistant tech closed the gate while I was talking to her. The emergency on call endocrinologist was on the phone with her trying to help too. I told the pharmacist I will drive to Laplata since they close at 11pm. When this devil called Laplata cvs pharmacy she only asked Mr. Ecchi if he had the generic brand with the syringe in stock. Never did she ask if he had the generic brand pen and he did. In dismay, I left and sat in my car and found out what I need to ask for by calling every 24 hour cvs pharmacy. This lady at the NE DC location told me that the generic come in a pen style too. I immediately call Laplata to ask Mr. Ecchi to check for the generic pen and he had it, but it was too late to get it. I was able to retrieve the insulin the next morning. Community, whenever you receive misinformation, inconsideration, lack of job performance call 1800- shopcvs. File a complaint and talk to the agent. I did!! My son life depends on his insulin to live.
The clerks on the date of 3/20/23 closing shift around 9pm were beyond great. The guy’s name was Winston & the girls name was Meg I believe. They assisted with my purchase because self check out machine malfunctioned. They were very patient & helpful. Sarah provided some of the best customer service ever !!!!!!! Been sitting from 3 to 6pm waiting on meds in this pharmacy. These people didn't bother listening to me when I supplied billing information just dismissed me even as I tried to offer up the info twice. Couldn't figure out why billing wasnt working... patience is a virtue but mine went out the window after the third hour. They need customer service training and maybe retraining on how to process claims.
Extremely unprofessional. Wasted one hour at the reception to get photo clicked. The girl at reception was clueless and made me buy a pendrive to get digital copy. However she couldn’t figure out how to transfer photos to drive. Ended up wasting one hour and got out with nothing but a stupid pendrive.
