Courtyard Albuquerque Airport

Horrible experience. Rooms aren’t cleaned until after you check out. If you want clean towels, you have to ask for them at the desk. We were supposed to be told this at checkin, but weren’t. Dirty towels are to be left in the hallway!!! No idea what I was supposed to do with the trash in the wastebasket. The breakfast buffet was borderline inedible. I didn’t think it was possible to ruin packaged syrup. I was wrong. Although there was a selection of cold cereals and oatmeal, there was no milk. Tea and coffee were whisked away as soon as breakfast was over. No way to have afternoon tea unless I brought my own tea and cream. We were charged for parking even though there was nothing nearby except other hotels and certainly no reason to restrict parking. The grass hadn’t been watered in weeks. Nothing outside had been kept up. The pool and hot tub were down. To get ice, we either had to turn on the ice maker in the refrigerator or pay for a bag of ice to be brought up to us. I expect this kind of experience at a hot sheet motel but certainly not at an Marriott where we had to pay $180+ per night for a two-night, mid-week stay. We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past few years and it was always a good experience. We were expecting the same good experience. We will never go back.
For the price, this place should be better. First off, you have to buy breakfast and it is not cheap. A bagel is $6 and french toast $11.50. Our room was musty and the whole place needs a renovation soon. This is not up to Marriot quality. Service was good. All those working were nice and helpful.
ZERO stars!!! This hotel is NASTY! Dirty and stained carpets. Electrical either don't work or the plug falls out. Beds are SOOO uncomfortable! This hotel is awful. The one female clerk with long dark hair was the best part as she was sweet and helpful! Don't waste your money if you're looking for a nice hotel!
We had to stay in this hotel as part of a "stay & play" for a soccer tournament. The reviews were mixed, so we weren't sure what to expect. Check in was super easy, staff very friendly. Room was very clean, there was a mini fridge, coffee maker & microwave which was a bonus! The pool is small but suited our needs well, no issues at all. Friday night, the staff allowed our entire team took over the hotel lobby & bistro area, for our team dinner. There were at least 40 people. The staff was very pleasant & accommodating and allowed us to bring in our own food. The bartender was absolutely AWESOME! We shared our pizzas & salads with all the staff that were on duty that night. The Bistro has a very limited menu & limited hours, but they never made us feel like we needed to leave or be done. We got coffee & a light breakfast each morning and it suited our needs fine. There are many restaurants within minutes of the hotel. We would absolutely stay again if we visit Albuquerque in the future.
This hotel is oooold and the raggedy, torn, stained carpet throughout shows it. It does have a "courtyard" but it seems equally tired. Rooms are a nice size. Beds are as exhausted as everything else. The loveseat element was worn and uncomfortable. Satellite TV cut out constantly. Bathroom was very clean which is always a plus. Elevator was dirty. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
