We had a fantastic experience! Due to a massive blunder with the airlines, we had one problem after another. This hotel was so good to accommodate and help us out. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a hot breakfast with actual plates and silverware, which was nice. The rooms were clean and up to date. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Overall, I’d definitely use this hotel again.
I am not rating a room here. The company I work for recently held a Director meeting followed by employee training sessions. We were so impressed with the staff and venue. From setting up the room to keeping us filled on coffee and water. The service was great!! 😃 This is great location and though we didn’t stay over night I noticed families enjoying the pool and water slide. I also noticed people really enjoyed the breakfast buffet they had put out! It looked amazing!! I want to give a special shout out to Josh for being so quick and respectful with our requests. The crew there did a wonderful job of supporting us during our long day. We will be back soon I am sure! 😃😊
I was a little concerned coming in looking at recent reviews but I would stay again. The hotel isn’t perfect, but for what you pay it’s a great value. The rooms are updated and clean, staff (though as mentioned in other reviews they seem short) were friendly enough, breakfast and coffee were free and solid, and there’s plenty of parking. We did notice a small stain on the bed itself that you can see through the clean bedding on too but it didn’t bother us a ton. This hotel is probably more worthy of a four star rating but recent reviewers are hitting them harder than necessary so five stars it is.
We had a wonderful experience staying her for 2 nights! While understaffed, they went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable! The pool area was AWESOME for the kiddos, and the hotel is in a great location. 🚢 Thank you for the pleasant experience. We will definitely be back!!
This hotel is very kid-friendly with good access to local restaurants and has a good breakfast selection. The customer service where it falls short. This hotel does NOT welcome local residents. If the front desk tells you a rate, they do not honor it. They may over-charge you and refuse to credit you the difference like they did to us by almost $80. They do not want anybody from the duluth-superior area to pay for a room and use the pool area because they've had a few bad experiences with some people being disrespectful to the rooms and instead of having policies that apply to those who are disrespectful, they would rather insult every local guest and tell them they are not welcome here in the future. Meanwhile people's pets are allowed to defecate and soil the carpets in the halls for extended periods, and elevators, those guests are welcome to return but it's the local residents who clean up after themselves who are insulted and told to not bring their kids and come back. We won't be returning here. Which is a shame, our kids really enjoy the water slide.
