I ordered shrimp and chicken strips. The chicken strips were very good but the shrimp left a lot to be desired. The employees were nice, however the drive-through was "yelling", which could have been equipment problems, and I feel could have been handled better by simply asking the customers to pull up to the window to order.

I have always loved Captain D's fish and many of their food choices, but my meals are getting much more expensive while the quality, size and even the taste has been going down hill. I haven't seen the manager that I knew and had pleasant conversations with for awhile so maybe this is the reason but I suggest that you check your order as well as the bill. Some sides are extra way extra. They don't open your order up to let you check it anymore so make sure you do this because the first time I didn't, a piece of my batter dipped fish was the size of a nail file. I hope someone in Captain D's reads my posts.

My husband ordered inside. After receiving his order, my husband was refused eating utensils. He asked for forks and was told by staffer ..." I can't give you forks. They are reserved for patrons who eat inside. My husband reminded her that he just spent $27 dollars and can't get a fork. What am I suppose to do...eat with my hands?

Prices are higher and portions are smaller. Placed my order online and gave a pickup time and got there to pickup and not only was it not ready but it wasn't even started!!!! Karen Willis

Starting with full disclosure: my frustration lies not with the evening shift team but squarely with upper management. Here's the breakdown: 1. DoorDash listed the wrong restaurant – it's Captain D's, not Catfish Kitchen. 2. Upon arrival, my order wasn't prepared because of inadequate prep work. 3. They were out of practically everything! 4. Despite evening shift requests, the main office refuses to cooperate with their requests to restock items for the evening rush.
