The food is great! You get large portions and the chef does a really great job with the flavor pairings. Their drinks are great as well. I had the camp margarita. They are also dog friendly!

Absolutely amazing experience at Camp Outpost! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the incredible manager, Justin. His hospitality truly made our visit exceptional. The ambiance was inviting and relaxed, perfect for a cozy meal with friends. The food was out of this world, with each dish showcasing fresh ingredients and remarkable flavors. Justin went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel like valued guests. I can’t recommend Camp Outpost enough – it’s a must-visit, thanks to Justin’s outstanding service and the restaurant’s delightful offerings! Five stars all the way!

I searched up on Google maps places to eat as I am always looking for new places to try and I try my best to support more local options, rather than chains. I stumbled upon this place and who doesn't love camping food?! They are in the downtown area, but wasn't so much in the heart of downtown. They had parking! I did accidentally turn into the parking area for the salvation army and had to go out to get to the right drive area, so do be careful not to pull into the wrong parking area like me. We stopped in during brunch hours, the place was not busy at all. Food came out relatively fast and was filling! Had a nice atmosphere. They are also dog friendly for outside seating, which is a plus!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and even better food and service. We wanted a new experience for my very picky, hard-to-please dad for his 75th birthday, and we couldn’t have been more impressed. Jared was able to accommodate all 22 in our party on a Sunday afternoon without a hitch. All the food came out quickly and was beyond delicious! My dad had a prime rib with eggs and his first words were, “I’ll be back.” Every plate that we ordered was exceptional in flavor and size. And the drinks…whoa! From the old fashion to the mimosa and the frozen rosé… all perfect. After eating we went outside and took pictures and enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere with the kids. We will definitely be back to enjoy this place. Thank you Jared for making this a special day for my family! Much appreciation to you and everyone else there at Camp!

This place used to be one of my favs in SA. Now they have a new chef and new management and the food has gone downhill real quick. I ordered the Camp plate for 2 today with thick cut fries, and what I got was absolutely disgusting. I had to toss all of it, it was so gross. When I confronted the mananger by phone he just made everything worse by arguing with me, instead of taking in the critique and listening, They also made a lot of menu changes which were dumb: «If there is nothing wrong with it, don’t fix it» Go elsewhere, plenty of other gems in SA (yet sad to see this place loose its mojo so quickly)
