Horrible company. Attempted to steal money from me by stating I returned the vehicle days late. I said how's that possible when my flight out of that state was on my return date. Now I have to go through the process of disputing their mistake to try get my money back. Do not use budget, pay the extra 10$ and use any other rental conpany.

Arrived in Florida, waited almost 2 hours in the Budget line when I already had a reservation. This is 2024, I shouldn’t have to wait 2 hours in line after flying all day with children when I already reserved a vehicle. I included a child seat with my reservation, and when I finally made it to the front of the line the attendant was rude and not helpful. She told me the child seat would be located in the lot. Well, it’s a HUGE parking lot and I had not a single clue where to find the child seat and was given no direction. I had to walk all the way back inside to the car rental desk and wait yet again for someone to tell me where to get this child seat. Once I finally found someone to help, they walked me to a rental vehicle and opened up the trunk and there were the car seats. How was I supposed to find that??? Customer service could’ve been much better. If you want people to have a better experience with Budget, find a way to skip the lines when you already have a reservation. I was extremely disappointed. However the car itself was fine and met our needs. I’m not usually the type to complain but this was absolutely ridiculous especially when you pay up to $700 for a car rental.

I wish there was a second or third person working that night. Our car was fine. I'd booked through costco and a member account, saw my name on the board behind the single person working so hard. And waited almost an hour to give my name and be handed keys....so glad I don't have little kids

The rental I received was not up to the standards I'm used to with Budget. I think the agent went out of his way to give me a vehicle that they could live without because I was doing a one-way rental. It was dark out when I picked up my vehicle, so the first one had a weird rattling sound and needed an oil change. When I took it back, the second rental I took on my trip out of town was so full of cigarette smoke, which I figured ok I can buy a plug in. But when the sun came up and the amount of dog hair I saw in this SUV was so disgusting. It was literally piled up in the pocket of the door handle and all over the seats and floor mats. Plus there was a big stain that looked like coffee on the back of the passenger seat

So conveniently located at the airport. Great service and professional help by their representative Ashley who is so friendly and kind. Every time I visit Destin, I will use Budget With great selections and cars.
