Our tech that helped us at the Woodriver IL AT&T store, she was AMAZING!! Very friendly and knowledgeable and sold us things we didn't even come into the store for! She got me upgraded to hopefully get better service!! She helped get everything switched over, and made sure we knew how to get into all our basic needs and explained to connect both phone together at home and go through and make sure that everything went to new phones. She set up my new Apple Watch and made sure it was connected to my phone. It TRULY WAS THE BEST SERVICE we have EVER had with AT&T!!! She deserves ATTENTION from AT&T for all her dedication and knowledge of her position and her thoughtfulness of how she truly cares about her Customers!!! I wish I could remember her name, and I’m embarrassed and sorry about that 😢!!
Excellent service, greeted the moment we walked into the store, made it clear we wanted to browse first, we were left alone to browse. Someone was available immediately when we were done browsing. We had not bought new phones in about 3 to 4 years and were there to see what our options were for getting new phones. My mind was put at ease right away after letting them know what phone I was interested in. They answered all of my questions thoroughly and made the experience very hassle free and we left very happily with 2 new phones. Thank you for awesome service. Trent was awesome, very nice and courteous. He made the whole experience great.
Run far away from this store. Walked in to try to upgrade my phone only to be told I had to upgrade my package to the highest plan, add on accessory package, and add on insurance because their "system" wouldn't allow them to do anything different. He was adding a line on to my plan without me requesting that. I reiterated I just wanted to upgrade my phone.... not anything else. He said so you don't want the accessory package? Ummm no, I never said I did. Completely incompetent and obviously trying to gain money from upselling me on things I didn't ask for. I called the alton store and they were quick to debunk every thing he said. He said everything he added on, I could take off in two weeks..... my bill was going to jump up $60 a month because of his add ons. It was insane.
We will never go to this store again. The experience there was awful. The salesperson Tommy was absolutely unprofessional and rude. He never smiled the whole time we were there and acted like we were an inconvenience to him. He would not honor the pricing on the placards for the phone payment amount, and when we asked why not, he stated “that’s just the way it is”. He was very argumentative and had no professionalism at all. I am a retail manager and if my employee acted in this manner to my customers, they would get completely retrained. We walked out and went to another store to purchase our phones. Tommy should get training from Jacob at the Alton store.
Would give 0 if i could. I had placed an order online and just called to see if it was ready 5 hours later and they said they had no order, the guy was VERY rude. I had to call the 800 number and the woman on the phone wanted to do a 3 way call to talk to the store. Again the man was rude and had to get help from the woman there because he did not know how to do anything and then proceeds to say "shes helping an actual customer" as if i am not one. Very poorly trained people here and not helpful one bit. By the end we got to talk to the woman who was even more rude than the man and then she hung up on us. Do not give business to this location.
