My girlfriend and I came to the theater tonight, and it was by far the most disgusting building I've ever been in. There was popcorn all over the floor of the lobby, the theater, cups, and candy container just left on the railing and floor from the previous showing. We went to sit down and there was butter poured ENTIRELY over one of our seats and since I had everything in my hands, my girlfriend went to go ask an employee if they could wipe it off and they told her she "they were too busy" so she went to the bathroom to get wet paper towels to clean it ourselves. For paying $20 a ticket and an additional $5 "service fee" for a total of $45 dollars just for tickets, I'd assume I wouldn't be sitting, standing and shuffling through other people's filth. The lobby ticket checker didn't even say hi or a single word to us. She just gave us a deadpan look scanning our tickets. The trash in the theater and lobby were so full people were just lobbing trash around them. The pictures below are what the entire theater looked like if I was being generous about how dirty it was. Customer service 0/10. Cleanliness 0/10. It was actually DISGUSTING.
July 2024 It was it first time there... Wonderful theater!! It was clean, beautifully decorated, had plenty of walking space, self serve drink station, a lounge and alcoholic drinks, comfortable reclining seats... It was one of the nicest theaters I've been. Online purchasing was simple. We were greeted nicely. All around perfect experience!
Visited last night for part of my anniversary date night. Immediately upon walking in it was clear that was something wrong with the AC. It was very warm. I looked past that because there were a lot of people and it’s PHX in July. I thought for sure the theater would be fine, just wait. Next infraction happened when I entered the restroom. I had to look through 4 stalls at random before I found one with toilet paper. Not to mention the place was trashed. It was very apparent there had been no attention to the maintenance of the women’s restroom for MANY HOURS. I mentioned this to a staff member very respectfully and he suggested I use a different restroom instead of saying it would be taken care of. We bought our concessions and grabbed a drink at the bar, which went well, shockingly at this point. It was then time to head into our 8:00pm movie. They didn’t let anyone in until less than 10 minutes before 8:00pm. Guests were lined up across the lobby waiting to be let in? This should have been the indication for the worst part of our night. We filed in with everyone else and found our seats. Full theater by the way, and I quickly noticed how warm the air was. I shook it off and decided I would give it some time because maybe it would cool down. 40 minutes into the movie it had not cooled down. It was warmer in the theater than it was outside when we left. I would have to guess at least 85 degrees. The people around me and myself were sweating and fanning themselves. It lasted the entire time. I had to put my hair up and roll my pants up. Very bad experience last night. Will not be returning anytime soon.
We came to see Inside Out 2. Great film, but I have never seen an AMC or any theatre so dirty. My seat had spilled slushie all over it, and the floor and other seats had popcorn and visible garbage thrown about prior to the showing. The lobby was a mess. The entire experience was disgusting. Don't offer so many showings, if you can't keep up or have inadequate staffing.
