We frequently visit all their shops and are big fans of sending and receiving gift packages. I recently received baked goods for Mother’s Day and tore into the bostock first. It was okay and quite different from what I just bought at the bakery. This was dry and lacking in orange flavor. I’ll freeze the other items for another time but think (from this and previous experience) the sweet treats don’t always hold up well to packaging and shipping. If you have an opportunity to try the specialty toasts at the roasting house, I recommend the Bulgarian.

Zingerman’s has heart ❤️ I sent a goodie box to my daughter in Seattle and it was stolen from her mail kiosk. I sent an email to customer service not knowing what to expect and received a quick and warm response that another would be mailed out with signature required at my request. Shout out to Melissa and Amy in customer service for your kindness and kudos to Zings for their good business practice!

I ordered a gift box for a relative who was quarantining in a hotel far from home. The hotel was responsible for losing the gift box for 3 days. During that time, Zingerman's customer service was outstanding helping me try to locate the box (it was at the hotel) and the offered to send a new one it even though it wasn't their fault! In the end my relative was delighted when she did eventually get the original gift box.

I want to like this company so much. But after receiving the $16 bag of dried mango that contained 6 pieces of fruit, I have to face the facts. Most items are way overpriced and just don’t live up to the wonderful marketing.

I have made a couple orders for special occasions that exceeded expectations for timeliness and product quality. We were also very grateful to have gone on a tour of the mail-order facility. I am very happy to have this business in Ann Arbor and will order again soon!
