What a beautiful B&B. The rooms were comfortable. There was a bear claw tub in mine. I have never taken a bath that good. They were friendly towards my service dog, and even were accommodating towards my vegan diet. Mary whipped up the best oatmeal I have ever had and supplied non-dairy milk with my coffee. This location is right downtown. The night before, I had gotten removed from the Amtrak (the dog) and flung into this tiny town. Mary picked me up and even provided transportation to Greyhound the next day. I may be back, the town looked like a fun place to check out.
What a wonderful place! MaryLynn is a phenomenal host that makes you feel right at home in the historic property. The rooms are very well decorated with touches that make you feel like you've lived there all your life. Breakfast is the most important part of the day and MaryLynn shows you why. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
We stay here every time we're in Marshall. The hosts are very kind and friendly. Our kids always look forward to the best breakfast ever. We love walking from the B&B to downtown, it's super convenient! We look forward to our next stay!
Nice B&B in a home from 1884 with a really lovely and delightful couple, Mary Lynn and John. I was treated just like family. They killed me with food at breakfast! A huge omelette, biscuits with gravy, sausage, fresh fruit, and orange juice and coffee. I was stuffed! I loved my room and they WiFi with an HDTV with lots of channels and a fridge with cold water. If I pass through Marshall again, I will stay here!
Wonderful location , hospitality by both Mary Lynn & John & pups, antiques & structural architecture is fabulous , bfst beyond a quick meal with cinnamon buns w apples n walnuts, omelet , maple bacon, & assorted fruits . Room was spacious , bed super comfy. Couldn’t get channels on TV but not an issue for us , hot tea in the pm & coffee in the am. We were even able to park our Airstream in front of the B&B. They referred us to a great Italian restaurant two blocks from our location . Obviously much pride shown in their home away from home . Customer service at its best ..... thank you for taking such good care of us !!
