Beautiful place! There are picnic tables and a charcoal grill out there to use. It looked well taken care of, mowed and no litter laying around. Large grassy area for Frisbee or viking bowling! There are signs about swimming and not having a lifeguard on duty, but I would not swim here. It's too swampy looking for my taste... But a beautiful place to watch the sun sets over Lake Bellaire! Pics do not do it justice!

A beautiful park to sit at. This exact spot is very small and seems more like it should be more of a private access due to how small it is. It would accomidate 1 group of 5- 10 people, so not really park or beach size. overall a cute and quiet area to enjoy the water.

It's a cute hidden, very small park with 2 picnic tables (not close together and chained so they cannot be moved) and a charcoal grill. For a more intimate setting, it is perfect. A couple notes- if it has recently rained, plan on the ground being wet. Several puddles and our shoes were soaked anywhere we walked, this made it a bit swampy for a picnic. Also, the sun sets in direct light of this park. While this might sound like a positive, it was very blinding as it reflected off the water (even with sunglasses on). A mid day or morning trip would probably be better than late afternoon or evening. Port-a-potty was clean and we did have to pull our kids out of water for a snake. Also, lots of bugs (probably due to warm summer swamp conditions), so bring bug spray.

Newer marked access to Lake Bellaire very close to the headwater of the Grass River. There is a porta potty. The road into the park could use some maintenance. The parking area is grass and was soggy after heavy rains. The walk to waters edge was probably 150 ft so getting my 6 kayaks in the water for my younger grandchildren was a chore. Visited late June 2021. Very convenient access to the Grass River. Good signage off M88. Will be making a $$ to the organization.
