My husband and I had burgers. Hand made, slightly crispy on the edges, juicy and delicious. Fried green pepper rings were hot, not greasy and delicious. They make their own ranch to dip them in and it’s yummy. Fries were hot and good. Mimi is a wonderful host. Our favorite place to sit by the windows (we call them a snug) were full but all other seating is comfortable. We had a blood Mary and it was delish. This is Cedar Falls’ best burger place. They have really good hot dogs, also.

Food was excellent, service was good and atmosphere was good. We got our window seat. A nice dining experience watching everyone drive and walk by while we waited on our meal. The fried mushrooms were excellent and so fresh. I stepped outside my usual and did the Reuben Burger with a cup of the Colorado Green Chile. Dang, I love this hearty carnivore chili with loads of Wilbo's homemade pulled pork. Hearty and so flavorful with just the right amount of heat and spice. Not over powering for the faint hearted that are scared that the dish maybe too spicy.

I was out and about on my on-going quest to great eats !! LOL I asked a local ( always the best source ) for a recommendation for a hot dog place. She told me about Wilbo's on Main Street so I stopped in. My server told me that their burgers are award winners..so it was going to be a burger night !! They have a build you own burger kinda menu and you order exactly the way you like it. Mine arrived exactly as ordered and it was outstanding !! Definitely will be back for another. I suggest you just get a single patty, they are plenty thick and my second one kept wanting to slip out !! LOL

This a quaint little place on the outskirts of downtown Cedar Falls. The ambiance is fun and the staff is friendly, and the menu is small, just burgers and brats alongside a variety of sides. And in terms of the entrees, everything is fantastic. The burger is one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s basically a “build-your-own” situation, but the meat is flavorful and cooked well, the bun is tasty, and the toppings are plentiful. And the Colorado Green Chili is just amazing. It’s very simple, just peppers and meat, but that’s why it’s so good. The other sides that we had, though, are a little lacking. The fried Mac-n-cheese, while impressively large, were oddly flavorless and the fries were improperly fried, so they were floppy and greasy rather than crunchy and delicious. However, the quality of the burger more than makes up for this. If you are in Cedar Falls and you want a good meal, hit this place up. Just skip the sides, get a burger and a beer (and maybe some chili) and you won’t be disappointed.
