Washington Dulles International Airport Metrorail Station
What people are saying
I used the Metro station at Dulles Airport and had a good experience. The station is clean and easy to navigate. The trains run on time, and the staff are helpful. It's a convenient way to get to and from the airport without dealing with traffic. Metro station at Dulles Airport is reliable and efficient. It's very easy to access.
The cheapest way to get to Dulles from D.C. is via Metro and it's worth it! It took me an hour to go from the Potomac Avenue Metro in Hill East, D.C. to Dulles on the Silver Line. The Dulles Station is new, clean, and is about a 5-7 walk to the airport!
Very convenient to be able to get right on the silver line when I land, so glad the Metro extends to here now! I hope it helps with traffic for all the cars too.
Entrance for the Metro is in the bottom of the arrival terminal. There are people-movers that move underground from terminal to station. There was an attendant in the ticket purchasing area that was helpful using the ticket machines.
Newly opened metro station serving Washington Dulles International Airport. The station is part Metro's Silver Line. A trip to/from Downtown DC costs $2 (vs $50-100 for a cab) and 60 minutes. The walk to the terminal takes 10 minutes. The platform is outside and mostly covered. The ground level of the station is one of the few on Metro to feature bathrooms, giving travelers and riders a chance to refresh before continuing on the journey.
