Walmart Supercenter
What people are saying
So tired of this happening at the Latrobe, PA Walmart, especially on garlic. I usually watch them like a hawk but was in a hurry this time. They have their hands/fingers on the scale sometimes while weighing produce, especially garlic. Not usually bananas. I’ve had to wait in their long line at customer service multiple times for them to correct the overcharge so I’ve learned my lesson and usually watch really well. Tired of this. As you can see two heads of garlic weighed, at the store, .96 of a pound when it was closer to .29 of a pound. Once they weighed three heads of garlic in at nearly four pounds.
Always getting harassed there by solicitors IN STORE. Comcast is the most frequent one. Why do they let people stand in the middle of the store and try to sell you services?? Walmart has a NO SOLICITATION policy, that they are ignoring. I go there with the expectations of safety & freedom from harrassment because of their NO SOLICITATION policy, only to get harrassed by these 'Jehovah's Witnesses '-type sales ppl. They refuse to let you shop in peace, & try to force you to engage in conversation. If you ignore them, they insult you with snarky comments like "You must be in a bad mood " or "He/ she is mean." UNBELIEVABLE! I've told numerous individuals that I am not interested in what they have, only to get dogged & followed into the next aisle! There are "No call" lists to prevent telemarketers from contacting you, & you can have signs at your home or business that prohibit soliciting as well--but NO PROTECTION at Walmart! Im already stressed out paying double for groceries in this economy & trying to do the math as to what I can/ can't afford on each visit. Then these random people will jump in front of me asking personal questions about my finances like "How much is your phone bill?" "Who is your electric provider?" "How much do you pay"? If Walmart Latrobe doest quit allowing the harassment of its customers, I'm literally going to be calling the police the next time this disturbing behavior happens to me again.
Online ordering with outside store pickup is my new way to grocery shop. This store has a very smooth and easy pick up process. Order online for pick up, park car in designated spot, let them know you arrived and the staff bring out your items and pack them in your car. Excellent service every time!
I have been doing grocery pick up for the past two years and it seems like I have an issue twice a month either the produce is very rotten or I find out that people are stealing from me. This last grocery trip on my receipt it shows $23.50 for three steaks which you can see in the picture it was $11.26 And then the roast charge me more sticker was on the package. And then also they ripped a bag of my potatoes so instead of a 5 pound bag I got half the bag when I called customer service and spoke with a manager they said I did not have time to deal with this call corporate. So pretty much they scan two things of meat but I got one and I was charged for two and then they overcharged me for my roast more than what the sticker was. Pretty much the person who did my grocery order got a free set of steaks and a half bag of potatoes on my paycheck . When I called customer service they did credit it back to me and they told me I would receive a phone call from management from the store and it’s been over three days I won’t hold my breath. Poor customer service poor management.
It's a Walmart. No review necessary. Advice: I was misinformed by an associate who was not at fault. Tried to " chat" advice to WallyCorporate and confused the A-not-Intelligent bot, which was apparently programmed to insult human intelligence. The simple advice is to not try to chat with a nonexistent human, and block Walmart from messages and email. It's not coming from an intelligent source.
