I haven’t played golf for 15 years and a buddy from South Carolina was up to visit. We called around and the 140 dollar prices were a little much. Very pleasantly surprised by the economical charge to play and very happy with the friendly helpful staff. New management showed lots of interest in improvements. Greens were beautiful and fairways coming along well. Going back for a quick 9 tomorrow morning. You will like this course.

The golf course itself was beautiful and my group enjoyed our round. However for nearly $110 for a round it didn’t live up to the price tag. No GPS on the carts and no alcohol sold because they didn’t obtain a liquor license. Also for a small thing of crackers at the turn it was $3.25. Way overpriced.

We've been to Hawk's Eye twice now and both experiences were top notch. The course is excellent with incredible views and it's taken care of extremely well. The staff went above and beyond. My only slight criticism would be a little bit slow as far as pace of play. I noticed they only have 7 minute tee time intervals. The other "up north" resorts my group played at both had 10 minute intervals and pace of play was fantastic at those. 7 minutes is not enough time and you get too many groups out there. But bottom line is this course is a tough but fair challenge and you have to give it a try.

A great golf destination with amazing views, good food, convenient location to town, affordable rates, and awesome staff! Hawks Eye is by far one of THE best golf courses to check off of your bucket list. I highly recommend playing/staying at this course!

A Northern Michigan gem and a must play for golf lovers. The views and change in elevation make this one of the best golf courses in the state. They also have really good golf deals so if you want a nice relaxing round on a wonderful golf course then make sure you play Hawk's Eye Golf Resort.
