United Club and lounges

United Club and lounges at Concourse D (Gate D6, Delta Rd, Chantilly, VA 20151, United States) This was one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever felt while flying. This is my first time getting access to the United Club🌟 Lounge area. I decided from the last time I flew I was going to be a member and the experience was better then I even thought. So many amenities while waiting on your plane flight. The simple delicious 😋 food to the area of sitting and work areas where you can bring out your laptop. The staff👨🏾🍳 in the area was very hospitable. A lot of staff🧑💼 members and I definitely understand why people would want to spend their time in this lounge area while waiting for their airplane flight 🛫. 5 star ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ 👍
It was okay, but not the quality I expect from a lounge. If this were a hotel, and most lounges are a Marriott, this would be a Days Inn. Outdated, food is low level, coffee machines are broken, beat up furniture... Oh, and MOLD! In the bathroom 😳. Just left there. Pretty disappointed. I ended up leaving and went to a Priority Pass lounge. I fly a lot and have access to a lot of lounges. This was my first time at a United Club because I recently signed up for their credit card and wanted to give it a try. I really hope this isn't representative of the rest of their lounges! Side note: I saw they have a special lounge at IAD for first class tickets called a Polaris Lounge. This appears to be of the same quality as other lounges.
I’m very pleased to see the Dulles club has great staff. I’ve traveled a lot over the last 40 years and this location and the accommodations were great. Despite the stairs and slow elevator it was fantastic. I wasn’t here long about a hour on Wednesday on my way on to Philly. . As short as it was I never felt any anxiety or concerns about my safety or ability to get good food. It has a great location and the staff was all pleasant. I will be back in 6 weeks. As a million miler it was a great part of my trip.
Another sad United lounge with terrible wraps and sandwiches, plastic forks and paper plates. It feels like most Washington United lounges: SAD. Chicken for tacos also terrible tasting and cold. Lounge feels Like they are going out of business. The sense of hospitality of at least the service desk matches the ambiance: SAD / non existent. Coming from a Lufthansa lounge in Frankfurt, this is 3 steps down.
The worst airport experience ever! The front desk clerks at United Club at IAD terminal C were so rude and dismissive to me that I actually left there visibly shaking and upset. I came to the club to ask where I could find a service desk to find out why my flight was delayed and also check about getting into the club. I get passes but checked and had used mine. I have a credit from my UA Explorer card, but they said they can't take it. I was thinking to just pay or use miles to get the pass, but first wanted to know my rebooting options. Before I could get any info, they got really rude. I just wanted help rebooking for a flight the next day or to buy a pass, but they said they couldn't tell me anything until I pay first. I stepped aside to a sitting area in the lobby to call customer service like they suggested and thats when the guy went off on me, yelling, pointing and saying "the club is for paying customers only. You need to leave now. Go someplace else." I wasnt in the club, its a lobby. This was in front of other travellers. I certainly wasn't going to pay to be treated like that. I've been in United Clubs recently and they're quiet, but not being kept well. Not worth the $59 fee if you're not a member and definitely not the $695 to become a member.
