just had one of the best blts of my life at this place. always a bit wary of gas station cafes/restaurants but my god it was so good. perfectly sliced pieces of crispy bacon lay atop a bed of crunchy lettuce. thick cut fresh tomato and mayonnaise as well. toasted bread and a side of crispy well seasoned wedge potatoes, pickles, and a 30 oz drink all for only $5.99. doesn’t get better than that. love texas and this place. not to mention staff were all polite and friendly!

Well I would have given it 5 stars but seeing the guys that are cooking eating while making my food is kind of nasty. I come to Alpine alot and not very many places around the hotel to eat because of employees just being nasty and kitchen not being clean! Now this is just another place that I'll mark off my list to grab something to eat. Let me update this while I'm sitting here the guy cooking walks out the back door wearing the gloves he's preparing food with to smoke and use his cell phone. Disgusting! Sitting here waiting after being here for more than a hour! I Finally asked about my food it was just sitting there no one told me it was ready!

Was filling up on my way East recently and saw an altercation between and young lady and her boyfriend. Uncle’s clerks took immediate action by calling the law and keeping the girl safe until the cops showed up. Amazing to see people stepping up. Sure, bathrooms could be cleaner but at least I know they’ve got my back if I’m ever in trouble!

Very nice clean store. Managers do a great job! Very nice staff and food is always fresh and hot. Love stopping by and seeing everyone!

The cashiers are very rude and think they can violate costumers rights. They dont card costomers for ID when buying alcohol and restrooms are very unsanitary. Dont stop here if traveling. The headquarters of this location need to take a visit.
