Update THE MANAGER called me , and we talked for a while. He is taking care of this matter. And a credit has been started. So my friends if you ever have a problem please, call and asked to speak with the manager. Here is what happened to me I rented the truck that was to have a dolly in it I had 5 people ready to move our stuff and could not cause it had no dolly I drove the truck back to the location to see if I could get a dolly no one was there this is 9.5 miles to the location 9.5 total of 19 miles $15.01 + 79.90 2 day rental 30.00 insurance 20.00 dolly 79.26 I paid=224.17 so subtract 224.17 +tax from what you say I oue you so I went to the location the next day and let them know he said he would I would get 2 free days renal The next day I called and called the location and even had the call center call them and text them I couldnt get my help that day that I would have to have the truck another day they no one returned my calls I must of spent 2 hrs of calling nothing. 3day I call the location and told them what happened he said I would only be charged 1 day THAN U-HAUL IS STILL TRYING TO RIP ME OFF BUT THEY CALLED MY BUSINESS PHONE ITS IN IOWA WE RECORD ALL CALLS I GOING TO UP LOAD THE CHATS AND ALL THE COMMUTION I HAVE HAD WITH THEM. I HAVE TOLD U-HAUL. They are trying to charge me for 3 days and it's not my fault they didn't put the Dolly in the truck that I ordered. So I am asking friends not to rent anything from this U-HAUL they lie. read the reviews. Thank you all.

A special thanks to Blake for accommodating our moving needs. He did an excellent job organizing the pick-up of the U-Haul and was there to answer all our questions. Was polite and helpful and we had a great experience.

I arrived at the store at 6:50 am because I had a truck reserved that I was supposed to be able to check in via phone. However, the app. wouldn't allow me to finish the process. One of the employees that was waiting with us for the manager to get there also tried to get the app to work and she couldn't get it to work either. The manager of the store didn't arrive until 7:45 (45 minutes late) and there were 3 of us customers along with 2 employees waiting for him to open the door. I had movers coming at 8:00 which I was paying by the hour, I was going to have to start their clock at 8:00 whether I was there with the truck or not. Then, I had reserved a utility dolly but there wasn't one when I got there. I checked the mileage on the truck when I got in and it was at a quarter of a tank. I was told I had to put it back on a quarter of a tank when I got back or I would be charged $30 for fuel. When I returned the truck it had 50 miles until empty on it and when I took the truck, it had 44 miles until empty on it. I put more gas in the truck then it originally had. The employee charged me a fuel charge because the gauge wasn't at the quarter tank mark. I explained to her when I drove off it had 44 miles to empty and when I returned it, it had 55 miles until empty so it had more gas in it then when I drove off. She said she was sorry but it was less gas in the tank then when I drove off and she was going to have to charge me a fuel charge. I asked her how could that be possible if I had 44 miles to empty when I drove off and 50 miles to empty when I returned. There was more gas in the tank then when I left. The overall experience was rather poor. When the manager finally got to the store, he apologized to us several times, none of us acknowledged his apology. He looked like he had just rolled out of bed. His hair was messed up and greasy. Very unprofessional.

Today was my first time renting from U-Haul on April 30.2024 . The customer service was exceptional. I will definitely be renting again. I used a van for a short move to Orlando. I was surprised how much room there was in the van and it was easy and comfortable to drive all the bells and whistles of a car .
