Wanted to buy a suitcase but saleswoman had to shuffle thru an unorganized back room and then did not register the product for me like all other Tumi transactions… never asked for my email….. seemed sketchy so I cancelled the purchase.
I had an issue with the zipper tag on my luggage while traveling so I stopped by location in Terminal E. Larry was very friendly and helped me solve the problem in no time. So refreshing to have someone assist that obviously likes his job and helping customers. Thank you Larry!
Tumi is a luxury product. One of the coolest parts of purchasing a Tumi bag is putting your initials on it. I bought a backpack in Korea but the Tumi store there did not have an engraver. I went to the Tumi store in the Atlanta Terminal F, but the employee said she was not trained on the engraver. Then I went to the store in Atlanta Terminal E and they did not have an engraver. I’m really disappointed because out of three Tumi stores no one was able to put my initials on my bag. Suddenly I am feeling much less happy about my $700 purchase. My home town has no Tumi store so now I have to wait until I travel or send it off to get done. I’m unhappy with the basic inability of Tumi stores to fulfill a big part of their brand promise.
Broke my stink handle in the airport. Figured I would go buy a new bag and ship this in for service. Went to the Tumi store in ATL A terminal. The lady was on a very important call with someone on her cellphone when I went to the counter. She huffed and muted her friend. Explained what I wanted to do she gave me a dirty look, said you have to figure that out on your own, and went back to her call. I guess they don’t need my $900.
Went to A concourse and lady had no customer service skills as she did not want to be there slouched over the counter on her phone. Asked about engraver for my new bag, she said it's broke. Went to e concourse and gentleman was nice bit said I had to go to F as that was the only store that does the initials. Went to F, and VERY nice lady, greeted me before even walked in then informed me she sent the machine for service and apologized no other store told me that. She was the manager and I will only go back to this store and not the others.
