DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Booked a few weeks in advance and did the pre check in. Had to wait in line for an hour and a half to not get my car. So I just ubered to my hotel. Now Thrifty is trying to hit me with a no show fee and collect money. Sketchy business practices. Every other company in the car park had no lines and smiling customer service representatives. Seriously. Don’t use them the extra bucks to use someone else is much worth it.

It does not matter when you come to a Thrifty counter. The line will appear as if they're giving away money. This is ridiculous! People need to give themselves an extra hour just to get through the check-in line here! What is the point of an early check-in if you have to wait 12 yrs once you get here. Then, to make it worse, someone in the line states they've been waiting an hr and a half to get a car. You people are awful for not correcting this issue. Never, ever again. I WAS on time to where I was headed. Now I will be late guaranteed. This is the only company I have this issue with. Garbage. *****I've sat in line for a full hour at this point. This place can save apologies. This is literally every single week at this location. If you need to come to this location, get here the DAY BEFORE ‼️ It is NO REASON in this world that you have tens of people in line and a line outta of area the rental facility with no resolution in place. Update your systems, fix the check I'm, get more people on the staff, and create a solution to be more efficient. HORRIBLE‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️

First & unfortunately the last time to rent from Thrifty. Line was at least 30 people deep, 2 people at counter working at snails pace with total disregard to speed or service! Folks at the airport mentioned that this was a normal occurrence at Thrifty/Dollar counter...ridiculous! After waiting 30+ minutes in a line that barely moved, we decided to ditch our Thrifty rental and went with National instead. We were out of the airport in less than 15 minutes after...that is how business should operate!

If I could zero stars I would. Yesterday, there was a global outage and many flights were canceled or delayed. We, just as many, were affected by this and our flight was delayed. We didn’t arrive into Houston until about 12:15am. Since we knew about this, we called ahead asking if they could stay open later for us. RUSSELL, himself gave us a number to call when we arrived and said that there would be people waiting there for us. Both of those things didn’t happen. The number he gave us was the regular toll number that hung up on us after hours and once we arrived there was no one there. Additionally, when we arrived there was already 2 women waiting, who saw the last workers leaving and one of the ladies said “I’m clocked out, I’m gone.” Absolutely no compassion or willingness to help people who have been in airports for way longer than anybody should be. Instead of being straight forward, they told multiple that they would stay later and absolutely didn’t. My parents had to sleep in the airport and wait until they opened, while my siblings and I had to uber half an hour away. AND the kicker of it all, they wanted to charge us for the day before, despite us not having the car and them not willing to accommodate like they said they would. My parents decided to cancel the whole thing, and even then they wouldn’t do it in person we still had to call another number. If I can suggest anything, please go to a 24 hour rental company, or a company with a rating greater than 2 stars (which is on us for not seeing earlier). I wouldn’t waste your money with them.

They may and try to give you an all-electric vehicle (can be difficult to plan charges when you are traveling and need to return the vehicle charged) if you pick the "Manager's Special". The gentleman who helped me was nice, though, and only charged an additional $10 for a standard gas vehicle. The line wasn't bad at all and I'd rent again from this location.
