Over 30 years renting cars and this was the WORST experience ever. We waited over an hour to the get a shuttle from the airport (some families waited an hour and a half) and then waited another 20 minutes to be told they ran out of cars! How does that happen? They also didn’t answer the phone when we tried to call for a shuttle. I’m guessing there were 30 people in the same position we were! Zero stars is what they deserve!

I have rented from here many times and have no issue. They really try to push their insurance plans and make you think priceline rental insurance plan doesn’t cover things it really does such as loss of use. Other than that high pressure upsell, I enjoy renting here

Flight was delayed in KC by 1:45. We called and verified that Thrifty could still give us the reserved car. Agent on phone assured us that we could still get vehicle, that they would stay open late. I repeated what she said and she assured again. When we got there, they were no where to be found and we had to Uber. Tried to call to get resolution but instead got the run-around. Enterprise helped us the next day. Don’t rent from Thrifty. They lie.

Only received 5 stars because of Heaven. She's amazing. We had reserved a large SUV way ahead of time. When we got there they only had 2 cars in the very huge lot. Heaven took care of us and was amazing. Give her a raise.

I should have read the reviews here before booking on Thrifty. I had to wait almost 3 hours to get a car starting from 11 pm in the night Love Field Airport. Whole family was there at the airport waiting for the shuttle. Even Hertz didn't allow us to board the shuttle. No customer support after 10.30 pm or 11 pm. After many attempts Hertz picked us up. Irony is, these 2 companies serve the customers interchangeably. It took another good 30 mins to get a car. And another good 15 more mins to go out of the Rental Security. We reached hotel about 2.30 am next morning. Didnt give us a paper work for the rental. This is the worst experience so far. I have had a bitter experience with Hertz few years ago. But Thrifty is the winner !!!!
