I am so pleased with my experience at Thornton Fine Jewelry! Christine Thornton gave me confidence. She sorted through my jewelry ( that I had in a drawer for over 15 years). Some of the items were worthless but others were valuable. I trust her completely. She provided the valuations for the insurance company. And most importantly she helped me put three of the diamonds in a new setting. She helped me create a beautiful ring. She is a wonderful resource here in Athens Georgia!

Great service and friendly atmosphere. I had a ring resized and repaired. The work was performed quickly and perfectly! My ring looks new and my husband gave it to me 35 years ago!

So I can finally post a review now that I have proposed! I can't say enough good about Christine and Thornton. I shopped at Shane company before I decided to look elsewhere due to Shane Co pushy, unprofessional sales staff. I read reviews from around Athens jewelry stores and decided here due to how many years they've been around. She sold me a diamond that was way less than the diamond I had chosen after showing me how it would look. She brought up the fact that a big diamond may not look right in a halo setting. That's how you know you're dealing with professionals who want you happy with your purchase. She guided me to want I wanted and needed to buy instead of selling me the most expensive diamond she could. We'll be getting the set and everything else made there. Check out their custom-made UGA stuff, too. Its awesome.

thieving b@stard switched a sterling silver necklace during "cleaning" to a much cheaper & lighter one. it was a gift from a relative that i never saw again. shameful.
