Recently took our Peterbilt in for a alignment check, instructed the service writer to check the caster due to new springs being replaced , asked them not to check rear axles , not to bend axles , picked up the truck up six hours later and was advised his techs bent my axle to adjust camber and added shims to my rear axles, after I instructed them not to do. As soon as I picked the truck up, I knew the truck was pulling harshly to the right. I had already committed to working the weekend. I ran a total of 1500 miles by Sunday I noticed my tires were showing severe wear , I called first thing Monday morning to Tim at Thompson cat, he wanted me to drive out of route miles to Oxford for them to recheck alignment. I told him that I don’t trust his shop and was taking to Big Moe in Birmingham a very reputable shop, big Moe techs realigned my truck and found my alighnement to be wrong and got it back in specs. I called Tim at Thompson and they paid the bill, but this is only the beginning of my problems. All my tires are showing a wear pattern, I had to buy 8 tires immediately. These tires were at least 85% tread before the misalignment. I asked Thompson Cat to reimburse me for them ruining my tires and they informed me they won’t am talking to my lawyer today for lawsuit. The worst shop around, and won’t stand behind their mistakes.I’m out thousands, just lettin my brother truckers know.

I don’t even know where to begin. I was on the road with my gas powered 2019 Ford Transit. On my way to delivery, my brakes started to growl badly. I called around and of course, most places need a day or two to get my truck brakes looked at and since I am an expeditor and live in my truck, I didn’t have the luxury of waiting. Thompson readily made themselves available to at least look at the problem and see if it’s something they can fix. The shop was swamped with work but Tim got Ben to begin working on it. All 4 brakes got new pads and rotors and in one case, a new caliper because of the neglect of a past brake job from another shop. A day and a half later, my truck was ready and so was I! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the bill! Thompson set the bar high when it comes to fair pricing. I was shocked and eagerly paid my bill because I was expecting to pay so much more!! If I am in the area and need work done, Thompson is where I would go! Thank y’all at Thompson for your work and hospitality! If you’re looking for a competent mechanics with a hometown feel...you can’t go wrong with Thompson Tractor...I tip my cap and thank you for everything!!

Rented a tracked trencher for a day. Took about 3 hours to complete 800 feet, mostly bc it was a soupy mess here. Rental process was seamless. Staff were AMAZING....like SO HELPFUL and FRIENDLY. Didn't treat me like an idiot bc I can't back a utility trailer, (even though I have a cdl lol) guys just came out and did everything for me. When I need another piece of equipment, there's no where else I will go. Can't say enough for these guys. Cost about$235 or so for a full day, should have just rented it for 1/2 but I'm inexperienced 😂 fair prices. Excellent running equipment, the only thing that took a few minutes to do was a full inspection on the equipment that I used because it had just come back from another customer. I really appreciated that. No complaints here, I don't mind waiting a few minutes to make sure I get good running equipment!
