Any selection of wine is available & all kinds of nice imported cheeses and dips! Lots to choose from with all vintages. Super helpful staff as well. Tons of craft beers you may individually. Located conveniently off the interstate ramp. Close to eateries and gasoline.

The Wine Shop is an absolute local gem and one of my favorite businesses in Charleston. It's very conveniently located within the Capitol Market by downtown Charleston. There's a wide selection of wine, beer (single cans, single bottles, growler taps) and cheese available. The wine prices range from just $10 to very high-end. Don't be fooled though - even the $10 wine selections are still excellent options and delicious. There is a section of the shop dedicated to West Virginia wine, too. I should also mention that the Wine Shop staff is wonderful. They're very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and never make you feel pressured. If you have the time, absolutely stop by and check out The Wine Shop!

This is by far my favorite wine store. There’s a large selection of wine, beer and even cheese. The staff is amazing!! Very knowledgeable and always has great recommendations.

I would give zero stars if possible. We had a horrible experience with this establishment yesterday while attending the German Christmas event. The gentleman working last night was too busy on his phone to acknowledge us standing there waiting for service, I am on crutches and after 10 minutes had to walk over to get his attention. After, he then refused to cut a giant block of cheese into smaller chunks for us ( we had been told earlier in the evening by a lovely woman it could be done, and we told her we would swing back by before we left to purchase the cheese). I could understand if it had been busy, but there were no customers waiting to be helped, it was just my sister and I and we planned to purchase several cheeses and olive oils. We ultimately purchased nothing because of his poor customer service and will not return. I like to support small business because I am a small business owner, but customer service is very important to me and this was just very disappointing.
