Stopped for the first time today while in town for a meeting. Always love supporting local when I travel. It was a great lunch spot. Great menu variety, weekly specials and fun atmosphere! Grab a menu and seat yourself vibe, tried the chip and dip flight great appetizer to share, dips were freshly made, I think the cilantro lime was my favorite! Tried the weekly special which was the kickin Cuban. Wow!! Freshly made, Perfectly toasted bread absolutely delicious and piled high with flavor. Service was great it was nice to see the team all working together especially when a big party arrived. There is a patio as well with seating. I will definitely be back again ! Thank you!!

I absolutely love the Wheel Barrel! Our servers are always very kind and go above and beyond, the food is great with vegetarian options, and the atmosphere is also very enjoyable out on their back patio. I’d highly recommend The Wheel Barrel to anyone passing through Topeka looking for a delicious unique experience!

This place is a gem. I had been wanting to try this place ever since I first heard about it. I went in for a late lunch and it did not disappoint. I had the steak house sandwich that was absolutely delicious. They serve the sandwiches with really light and crispy kettle chips that I enjoyed. My friend had the el fuego sandwich which he loved. We also ordered Italian cream sodas which were so good. I definitely recommend trying this place. I will be going again to try their award winning monte cristo.

Visiting town for the day and stopped here to grab lunch! When I say these are the some of the best sandwiches, I mean it! They had a large selection of sandwiches to choose from and their chips were a fan favorite by all! They had a great assortment of craft beers to try that paired nicely with the meal! We tried the Baja turkey and the Monte Cristo! The atmosphere was welcoming and upbeat, plus wonderful attitudes and attentiveness by the servers! There were neat shops in the area too!
