Hello, I made a reservation prior to my stay. When I made my reservation the agent was nice making the reservation but when I got to the hotel today the agent told me one price over the phone and at the front desk the agent tells me another price then come to find out they didn't take my type of card and then come to find out they charge incidental fee for every night of your stay I was staying for 3 nights and 4 days and when I made my reservations the agent DID NOT TELL ME I REPEAT DID NOT TELL ME that there will be an incidental fee charge for every night that I will stay at the hotel. So Andreas the bells man which was very nice got the Assistant Manager for me and she was no HELP AT ALL mind you I traveled all the way from Charlotte, NC and part of an event that was there at the hotel, I ask why when you make reservations why this information is not told to you as far as incidental fees because this is an inconvenience to charge me almost $1000 that includes my stay and along with incidental fees? The manager could not answer it. The service I received was very unprofessional. I do not recommend.
First timer and a good experience. It's tucked away. The room is spacious--had a king with couch. Extra touches such as animated towel, lavender available to aid rest, very clean and many towels. Pillows fluffy and supportive mattresses. I will definitely return. Amenities include indoor and outdoor pool, exercise room, boxing area, outdoor sitting area, bar, restaurant, coffee shop and paid parking ($25.00 per night).
The place is clean and staff pleasant and welcoming. The housekeeping lady that took care of my room was kind and helpful. I didn't realize my door didn't close completely when I entered the room. She noticed and closed it to make sure my room was secure.
The hotel itself is nice, the staff is very professional and friendly. However, the room was not clean upon arrival. There were old towels left, make-up on another towel, and a fake finger nail left behind. Housekeeping is not up to par at the Marriott hotels. I’ve been traveling for a couple of weeks and I’ve been having to write corporate and management. I think housekeeping needs to be paid more and that’s why these hotels aren’t up to standard in cleanliness.
I've had an amazing experience at this hotel, having stayed here for over 50 nights in the past year and a half. Despite facing numerous challenges, the hotel has consistently provided exceptional service. The management has made significant improvements, and the valet service has been consistently reliable. The rooms are consistently clean, and the front desk staff is professional and respectful. Special commendation goes to Taha, who always goes above and beyond to ensure our comfort. While the overall experience has been fantastic, there are a few areas that could be improved: 1) The hotel advertises a heated pool, but in reality, it is cold. Addressing this issue would greatly enhance the guest experience. 2) Maintenance should pay closer attention to ensuring that all facilities are in working order. We encountered issues with our shower and the lack of hot water in the sink during our stays. While these are minor issues, addressing them promptly would contribute to an even better stay. 3) It might be a minor preference, but having glass cups in the rooms would be a nice touch. Despite these minor suggestions, I must emphasize that this hotel is truly wonderful!
