Thanks to Sofia who was at the counter on 18th April 2024 for an amazing customer service. Our son had booked our luggage through LugLess service from this location. Since it falls under an external premise not being an owned office of UPS, there was some additional charge per baggage. It was a surprise to us. We expained to her that these extra charges were not known to us before and asked for help. Sofia was kind and considerate and waived of the charges understanding our precarious situation after a really long flight.
They charge a $50 local handling service fee per package in addition to postage depending on the size and weight of the package. It cost me $528 to ship a bag of skis and a roller suitcase (50lbs each) via ground to Wisconsin. Pretty outrageous.
I had such a great experience at this place! The location is very convenient, located within the Hilton hotel just steps from the blue line train and terminals. The employee working there was sooo nice, she was very kind, professional and worked really hard to make sure that my documents were printed perfectly. I see that other reviews are complaining about costs, I thought that costs were reasonable considering the location, convenience and quality of service. I will definitely come back to this location if I need printing or copying services in the area.
This small UPS store inside of the O’Hare Hilton offers so much convenience! I accidentally forgot to pack some kitchenware in my checked baggage, and only later I realized that they were not allowed to be onboard with me. Thanks to this store, I didn’t have to abandon them in the last minute. I shipped them to my home address via this UPS store and that was such a relief! The extra handling fee is more that justifiable, considering how much help this establishment is of in the airport.
Our experience at the UPS Store at OHare Airport was excellent. (Location & Customer Service by Darren). We are a senior couple and were on a long 5 week trip & found ourselves lugging an extra suitcase that we no longer needed for the rest of the trip,. In addition we had to pay to check that bag on each flight. We decided to ship the extra bag home and were happy to find a UPS Store right at the airport near the Hyatt. It arrived fine. Darren helped us find the right sized box and packed it for us. He then went the extra mile by helping us figure out what trains we needed to take to reach our hotel. During his break he even walked us to the train station and showed us how to buy our tickets. It was a pleasure to find such a professional and courteous young man.
