Wow is all I can say. This was my first time here and it was fantastic. Ticket were $5 for each film and I ended up doing a double feature of 2 Hugh Jackman films. Both The Greatest Showman and Prisoners were sensational. The seats were also really good for being normal theater seats since they leaned back a little. I had a great time and thank you guys for playing not just brand new films and I look forward to return for the next double feature :)

First time at The Times Cinema. It was a lovely experience. I saw Harvey. I love that they show old films. Two very nice young men greeted me and gave me my ticket and my drink. The tickets are not expensive compared to Marcus and I believe they have a $5 deal as well one day, but don’t quote me on that. The soda was large and I think about $5. Can’t complain. Marcus is way more expensive overall. Can’t say anything about the food/snacks because I didn’t have any. It was very quiet which I liked a lot. When you go to Marcus or other big theaters there’s lots of people and kids and the building is very big and there are movie posters and displays everywhere. It’s too much. This place is so quaint and quiet. There are two doors you can go through into the theater and then there’s a curtain you go through. The theater is pretty large. Lots of seats. There were more people there than I thought there’d be. Not crowded, but little groups here and there. The seats were very comfortable. The only thing that I could comment negatively about would be that the seats have high backs so it blocks the screen a little, but it didn’t bother me. That wouldn’t keep me from coming back. I’ll definitely be back to see more. Great experience.

The Times Cinema has been a Milwaukee movie house classic since 1935! The Times has shown many of the great cinema classics over the years. The Christmas classic Its a Wonderful Life is a yearly event at the Times at Christmas. The concessions such as the buttered popcorn are very fresh and delicious. Also, check out the Rosebud Cinema Drafthouse and Avalon Atmospheric Theater which are own by the same business the Neighborhood Theater Group. The Times, Avalon, and Oriental are the only three remaining movie theaters in Milwaukee!

This theatre is right down the street from where I live and I always enjoyed going there! I haven’t been there in a while, so I drove by tonight to see what is playing, and the marque is bare, and it looks deserted. Does anyone know if it’s still open?

Great restoration, huge screen, clean, friendly. Has QR code on the attached swing tables to order food. Like, real food... pizza, burgers, fried chix... Nice! Will be a regular!
