Not disabled friendly. No service animals allowed inside or even outside on the patio. The bartender made me feel like a leper. I went to this establishment a couple of times years ago before developing the disability and really liked it, the patrons were all very nice and down to earth. Unfortunately will never be able to return. So... yes, go here if you’re perfectly fine, no, don’t go here if you need a service animal. Save yourself the embarrassment.
Classic Akron Bar in Akron's Ellet neighborhood. Friendly crowd, sometimes older just after work but usually gets younger as evening goes on. Best nights are Thursdays (all domestic bottles $1 until 9pm) and Tuesdays, with specials and a fun Karaoke crowd; lots of fun. Good Happy Hour specials, and food is good, even as kitchen is in transition. ANY ONE of the bartenders here is equal to, or better than, three bartenders you'd find anyplace else, in terms of service, attentiveness and personality. Neat Tiki bar out front, with a small patio; a nice place to relax, watch the sunset and check out the planes flying into the airport. Great view of the Rubber Bowl ruins, too--very scenic...just imagine it's the Colosseum in Rome...

Great neighborhood bar. Good bar food. Older crowd but still alot of fun! Not good for singles if other singles are what you are looking for.
Wonderful fun friendly people. Great food. Awesome Tuesday night special. Long island! Woohoo!!
