Good place to stay for your weekend ski trip, but Cedar River is the location you want to go to if you're looking for ski in/out. Rooms were fine. Dated and in need of some repairs, but clean. Front desk staff wasn't very friendly - one lady in particular was especially rude when asked about the shuttle, but another employee was much more helpful and kind. Overall, the mountain made for a fun experience. Might come back, but will likely stay at cedar next time

I loved this place. I stayed here four days and three nights and it was great. The location is a bit distant from the Torch Lake Sandbar but worth it. Thank you Lak.

Stayed in a VRBO in Shanty Creek and had access to use the Lakeview pool. Family had a wonderful time.

Amazing hotel great view from our room but there were a lot of loud drunk dudes which was annoying with a baby

Ski resort. Rooms are OK. There are different sections/ buildings, some of them appear are very old and dated. Maintenance is not good, so you will find broken door knob, cabinet/ console drawers that doesn't stay closed ( can freak you out, if you are scared ). This resort is at least 30-40 away from Boyne city, which has better resorts. At this place you are stuck with couple of restaurants within the resort. Skiers might like this place. View from the resort towards ski slope is incredible. No soundproofing in rooms. I could clearly hear, loud drunk folks in the middle of the night in the hallway. Beds were not comfortable for me, few other folks staying there said the same. Bathroom shower curtain was not neat and clean. It had mold marks and stain. Sink drain did not function properly. Tiny 32" TV. They have swimming pool both outdoor and indoor. Sauna and spa. Bike rental is available. They have a game room. There's resort shuttle. This resort is near Torch lake. In my experience the room rate is not worth the facility.
