The Junction Punta Gorda
What people are saying
Paid an exorbitant amount ($13.) for gin and Tonic. Definitely not Tonic and very little gin. server nicely offered more gin which did not improve taste of whatever the mixer was. Left most of the drink there. First and last time.
Noelle can drop the attitude and the mask! I ordered a high noon and all she did was shake her head. I’m sorry I can’t understand what shaking your head means?!? I didn’t know if she couldn’t hear me but a very rude woman! Also, what’s the point of wearing your mask if you’re lifting it up and eating chips and cheese. Needless to say it’s easy for her to scare off customers with her attitude
We fly in every 60-90 days, this is the second time Noelle was so completely rude we did not even place our order. I'm sure she's chased away at least 5x her salary . On her personal cell and was very nasty. Asked what we wanted to drink, I looked up to see what they had , she repeated, what do you want to drink? This is a bar you know. Really nasty tone of voice. I looked at her and said, yes I realize it's a bar and I was going to order something, but not now, after being treated so rudely. This is a he second time she has treated us this way, it's not just us, I heard others complaining as well.
Others complaining about a hamburger and bottle of pop for $16? If you don't like airport prices you should drive. I had a hamburger; others were ordering the same, and cheeseburgers and hot dogs. They also have panini - too unpredictable for me - and personal pizzas. They were out of the pizzas at 11:30 but it was Sunday. My burger was excellent. It was a third (quarter?) pound or so like you get when you order at other than a fast food place. No quiz as to condiments, they say "lettuce tomato and mayo okay?" and there are packets if you want different. Keeps the line moving. It comes on a thick fancy bun (pretzel or something) two tomato slices and an honest to goodness lettuce leaf. And it was hot. They aren't set up for efficient traffic control. It's a snack bar inside a 500 sq ft gift shop with a bar on one wall, so they're dealing with that. Take your bottled drink from the cooler on your way in, order, then try to stay out of the way. More space would make it better as would some tables, but there were enough seats in the waiting area I was able to sit with a side table and dine. I was hoping to get a decent burger at the airport and wasn't disappointed. Update: there are plenty more seats and tables near the gates.
Ordered an everything bagel with ham, egg, and cheese. Immediately felt nauseous after eating. The next day I got food poisoning, which was doctor confirmed.
