The Fresh Market is clean, with nice food displays. They have some specialty foods that you can't find at other stores in the area. The prices are high, but for specialty food, ok. That being said, when you pay almost $50 for strip steaks, and ask the butcher to cut them, you don't expect to get home and find a 2" wide 11/4 thick. Also, the deli area food wasn't fresh. I love this store, but if you're going to charge top prices, produce the product.
The last couple of times I have been to the deli section the staff has gone above and beyond. Once I was looking for a snack pack and there wasn’t any on the shelf. “E” went out of his way to make one for me. And yesterday i was looking for Risotto Cakes and a lady at the deli went in the back and found a box! Great and friendly service!
I shop Fresh Market in Aiken, S.C. The service I receive at the meat counter is above any I've had anywhere else. They are so patient with us senior citizens and always are willing to package portions to suit my needs. Of course the quality of the meat and sea food is always excellent. Thanks to all.
Although I enjoy shopping at Fresh Market, I was surprised today to find a little shady behavior. 2.00LB @ $2.50 /pound for Chuck Patty was actually SEVEN ounces each therefore 14 ounces for $2.50 NOT one pound as listed on the receipt Don't appreciate misleading ads. I notice in the online ad you have slyly changed the amount to 7 ounces
If you are doing a deep clean why not tell your customers or close for the day. Fish counter closed also appetizer cold counter closed. Low inventory all round. Today was certainly not up to th usual standard. Disappointing
