Good food, good people, it’s the classics done right! And for a great price! Located right beside the gas station, it’s conveniently located to both fill up your car and your belly. I got the Greek Omelette and was impressed at its size and the generous but balanced stuffing of veggies and feta. I’m gluten sensitive (had no reaction) so I opted out of the fries and toast just in case, but my friends said they were done just right. The waitress was a sweet and friendly lady. Their bathrooms are gender neutral, private, and clean. Nice for our LGBTQ+ friends. Thanks for having us!
We highly recommend The Classics Diner ! Our first time in to such a wonderful restaurant. The service is so friendly, owned by a young local couple who have done a fantastic job on the history of Bancroft in pictures all around the restaurant. Not to mention the food was home cooked and REAL !!! We ordered 2 club houses with fries and the chicken was real roasted chicken, the bacon was cooked to perfection, and actually bigger than most places. The fries are real potatoes hand cut and fried to an awesome crisp. We took them home and nothing limped out. You know noodle fries!! Thank you so much for the best clubs we've had in years. Nice little diner. The food quality not great. The chicken soup was not bad, but way too salty! The fish was oily tasting and the cook forgot to salt it and it didn't come with tartar sauce. The rice pudding was excellent, best part of the meal. Tea and coffee was very good.
Cannot say enough about how incredible this diner is. The food is absolutely delicious...that's the truth. But I think that it's the staff that has made this one of our absolute favorite restaurants bar none. They have literally been so amazing to us, and they even delivered most of our meals. Absolutely recommend The Classics Diner. Try it, you wont be sorry.
Friendly service with a very clean and inviting atmosphere and the food was delicious ! The crispy chicken sandwich was AMAZING. I highly recommend the Classics Diner for a quick bite or a relaxing meal out . You will not be disappointed . Thanks to the staff for a lovely dining experience. We will certainly be back !
