Shopped there twice. Two black ladies running the store, one young and the other older. Sweet and polite, the young one. She appears to be under the older one’s control. The first visit ,the oldest loudly complained the store, leaving early ,her life ,locking the door over and over. She was complaining continuously. Next visit, same thing but worse. Checking out, I asked if they had a bathroom I could use. The young , kind lady directed me to the back. Then the old one strolled up and said there was no bathroom I could use. I said two different stories, hmm! You are not letting me use it , when the other person said I could! I like the clothes and the prices but the older lady should be fired. Has a serious attitude problem! Said I will not shop there anymore! But if she is gone, I will. She lied to me and says she hates working there. But please, the young lady is a keeper!

Employees are very rude, especially the older lady with the bleached hair. She made me feel unwanted in the store with her heavy sighing, eye rolling, and slamming clothes around. She really needs to be replaced.

Don't shop here the customer service is trash, the prices are lies, and the clothes don't fit to size. Don't bother ordering online either I promise whatever the expected arrival date is just add two weeks to that. Worst shopping experience to date. I regret spending my money here and I hope this business crashes and burns as it should have years ago.

These folks are phenomenal! I shop at this store a lot for my two grandchildren and in every instance the customer service reps have been personable, welcoming and accommodating. When I've ordered the wrong size by accident, they have bent over backwards to help me out. Contrast this to another store in the 29406 zip code area which have been less amicable and to whom I would give a negative 5 stars. I always shop in Aiken vs. North Charleston because of the fabulous employees at the former. Kudos, Children's Place fantastic employees in Aiken! You are fantastic! ♥️

Sunday I received a notification my pickup orders were ready. Went to the store gave my name and order numbers and were told they didn't have anything. They were super nice and tried to he helpful and gave me the number for customer service. I had to call Mon since they're closed on the weekend. Told customer service what the store said and told them if they didn't have it then I'll just have it refunded and order again. They said they have to confirm with the store its not there. Store says no. I then have to remind customer service of the second order so they have to call the store again. This time the store has both packages but they refunded one order already so I was told I could at least pick up the second order. Tuesday comes and I'm finally able to go back to the store. Give my name and she automatically recognizes my name and makes a big deal about the mix up because I was giving my married name and the orders were under my maiden name. Normally I would have shrugged this off but she made it a point to tell me she hoped I didn't hear the stink she made on the phone to customer service. I felt uneasy about the whole experience since I don't like confrontation like that. I didn't think it was that big of deal but I guess the employee thought it was.
