Absolutely amazing staff and old school motel. This place was more clean than newer hotels. You can tell that money is being spent to maintain the upkeep here. I will stay here everytime I travel this way. I have never had anyone from a hotel give me their personal cell phone number to keep me updated as I travel to this part of Texas.

This is a no-frills motel. The entire place looks a little old but you can tell they try to make efforts to keep it up. You're not getting a coffee maker in your room. You're getting a clean room with a place to take a shower and sleep for $65 (in February, 2024) Let me emphasize that it was very clean. The floors were all hard, no carpet. The TV was huge and they even had the forethought to hang an HDMI cable for guests access. It even had Roku. A little dark in the shower stall but the water pressure was amazing as well as the temperature!! We were in the back side of the motel but it was very lit up and I didn't have any security concerns. There is a Mexican restaurant right next door.

The owner was very nice. The room was very clean. In the last 4 stays in the Marshall area this place had the cleanest room by far. The rate for a double full bed was around $73 total. We stayed at the Clarion Pointe the time before, the rate there was $135 and the room was dirty so this place is the better deal. The room had a fridge and microwave. The ac worked great. It was also a quiet stay which is a plus for me. The bed wasn't bad. I am kind of snobby when it comes to beds because I don't sleep well when I stay in a room and if the bed is hard then I don't sleep at all, but this one was decent and I slept okay. The sheets and bedspread was clean also. The only complaint and it doesn't take away from the review is there was no light in the shower so it was a bit dark. Overall, I will try to stay here again if I need a room in Marshall.
