Terrain
What people are saying
An elevated food experience in a casual setting. We'll be back to visit Terrain again! Very impressive flavours and expertly prepared dishes. They seem to take the approach of keeping a small menu and doing everything perfect. It has enough variety for a range of people. I ordered the Michigan Whitefish. It was served crispy skin up, it was a lovely presentation so I knew they had a top cooking staff immediately. It was delicious and the crispy square hash browns were unique and wonderful. My partner order the Parsnips Stew. A Vegetarian dish that was very filling and flavorful. The staff was attentive and very friendly. If your a foodie, this casual 5 star restaurant in downtown Belle Air is not to be missed!
Overall, this restaurant offers a dining experience that is unparalleled in Upper Peninsula, Michigan. The charming atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, locally sourced foods, premium quality ingredients, interesting flavor combinations, visually pleasing menu, phenomenal cocktails, and unexpectedly delicious dishes combine to create an unforgettable culinary journey. If you are in the area, make sure to visit this establishment and indulge in their extraordinary offerings.
Staff incredibly friendly and upbeat! Waitresses, bartender and the Chef himself would come out now and then to speak with the dinner guests asking if their meal met their expectations. Been here several times already and I always ask for the sirloin plate and veggies. Top notch, would bring all friends and family here if I could! Excellent Everything!
I've only had wonderful meals at Terrain. It's a rotating menu but the whitefish is almost always on because it's amazing. Lots of great local ingredients, amazing cocktails, and a delightful staff.
The best food we've had in Bellaire, hands down! Wish we knew it sooner because we'd only eat here all weekend! The pork chops were so divine, and moist. The chicken mushrooms was great too, but pork chop won hands down. The butternut squash soup was so delicious as well. Our 1 year old son ate everything we ate, too, and has never ate so much in his life. We give the chefs kiss to these wonderful dishes! We saw they were closing soon and so devastating! This restaurant would so really well in Traverse City for sure. Just needs a better demographic to help with the funds because the cost is worth the quality and LOVE it's local or sourced from Farms. Hope to see them grow in a new city where they can continue past the busy season!
