This place is such a resource! I have wanted to start raw feeding my dogs for a long time but struggled to find what I needed at other butchers in the city. That is until a friend told my husband about Tatnuck Meat and Seafood anyway. Mike is so knowledgeable and willing to help educate, a dog person who also happens to be a butcher. The quality of everything that comes from there is top notch. The marrow bones alone are worth the trip (my dog's teeth are pristine thanks to them. No more expensive cleanings at the vet) nevermind the other great nutrient dense options that they have. My dogs are healthier and happier, and actually look forward to meal times. None of this would be possible without Mike and his wonderful business and knowledge. If you're local to Worcester and want to do more/better for your dog's diet you absolutely must take the ride over the Tatnuck! Tell them I sent you.
Very limited selection, and is only open when everyone is working. Looks dirty and smells like dog food, which is I guess what they specialize in now. Maybe it’s good for pet food, but not great for people.
Had a great chat with Harvey today about his business and his previous life in the rodeo! It was my first time in the store and it was so pleasant to meet the owner and sense how much he cares about his product ! Came home with scallops for my husband and I and bones for my puppy! Everything was a hit! The scallops were mouthwatering and fresh and we can’t give much credit to my husbands cooking skills, so really the credit needs to go to Harvey!!! We will definitely be back for more fish and meat soon, Harvey! Thanks for your warm introduction to your business!!
I get my brisket here for my sons birthdays! I also stop in from time to time when I want to treat myself to a nice prime cut ribeye. I love that it right around the corner from me. Very knowledgeable staff and very helpful! 6 stars for me.
