I had booked a bus from SYR to Buffalo for a Sunday 6 pm departure and a 9 pm arrival. I received a notification about a 2-hour delay the Saturday morning before the bus was supposed to leave. I thought that this was suspicious because why would the company know so far in advance that the trip was going to be delayed? I kept checking my phone to see any real-time updates on my bus, but every time I checked it said information will not be available until Sunday at 8 pm. I arrived at the bus station at the original time of departure (6 pm) and there was a FlixBus in front of the station blocked by 3 police cars. The cops were out on the scene and half of the passengers were standing outside of the bus. I was scared for my life. It turned out that this was not my bus, but the issue with this bus was that FlixBus sold too many tickets and now there was not enough room for all the passengers. The board at the station still said that the bus was at 6 pm so I did not know what to believe. 6:30 rolls around and there is still no sign of the bus. I found a Greyhound worker in the station and she had no report of where my bus was, half an hour after the bus was supposed to depart. Thankfully I booked a 7 pm Amtrak back to Buffalo and did not wait there until 8:30 just for FlixBus to tell me that my bus was canceled altogether. If I had relied on FlixBus/ Greyhound I would have been stranded there.
No one to contact , terrible service
Honestly taking a bus can be a good thing or bad thing and the setup here is good. As far as service the staff is knowledgeable and there is a good food court with Subway and Dunkin as well as a travel store if you need last minute sunglasses hair cap smokes watches etc. Large space so you're not on top of others as well and lots of seating.
Haven't used it yet, this website gives u all kinds of imprtant,history,important information, pictures,distance, good & bad reviews,everybody is different And goes 2 show All Lives Matter! It's how we see it be positive get results,better when u have honey attract bees, better than bad people cause they get caught.
Very straightforward. Food stands were closed in the early morning, but there are vending machines and water available. Dirty restrooms...
