Super 8 by Wyndham Milwaukee Airport

I've never stayed at a Super 8 before and was a little bit nervous, but the staff was so kind, helpful, and attentive. The room was clean, besides a few marks on the lampshade/walls, and the location was great. They provide a shuttle to the airport, and there's a coffee maker in the lobby that was always full. There were also vending machines and an ice/water machine. It felt safe and there were always staff around cleaning up/tending to the hotel. For the value, it exceeded expectations.

Edit: Changing to 1 start because the fan in the room literally does not work at all, does not turn on, and it’s stuffy and muggy in here. Here plumbing noises and trucks running outside (?) nonstop. Just want to sleep… Previous: It’s about what you’d expect. Quieter than I was afraid of… lackluster options, moderately unfriendly front desk. Just basic. 2 Stars.

I recently completed a stay at this hotel with a friend. We stayed here last year also. This year was nothing like last year. They advertise having breakfast, but it is a "grab and go" bag with a muffin, yogurt, and apple juice. Those are snacks, not breakfast. There was a coffee urn in the lobby, but no cups. The vending machine was out of water bottles. The room was okay, but there were only two very small bars of soap. Most hotels these says have a small coffee machine in the room, this one didn't. They also used to have a small fitness center, but I don't think they do anymore. When we go to Milwaukee next year, we won't be staying here.

We just had the worst experience with a hotel but I’m so glad we came here! The staff is so helpful and during my stay I saw them deep clean the carpets and along with our clean room I’m super glad we chose to stay here. I have seen their vehicles constantly which also provides me with thoughts of extra safety. They have an impeccable parking lot which tells of their focus on cleanliness. I recommend and will stay again.

Staff was nice and helpful. It's next to the air port but you can't hear the plains. Nice and quiet. The rooms are dated and could be cleaned better. But it's a cheep place to stay. There is no pool or breakfast. Vending machines only on 1st floor. Bed was nice and firm. You get what you pay for.
