The room was clean if not slightly on the small side. The bathrooms were also nice and clean. It looks like they might have recently renovated the rooms. They did an excellent job. The breakfast fell a little flat but you can't complain too much about free food, right? Kinda wish they had an ice machine on every floor instead of having to go to the lobby every time. But all in all I can't really complain too much. Might not be my very first choice but definitely wouldn't be my last either.
Staff was nice. Room was clean; bathroom was spotless. Unlike other older reviews noticed a rather nice scent in the rooms so I assume they have seen the old reviews of a smell and fixed it. Our room and the hallway smelled really clean and nice. Shower was modern with different massage settings. Soap was best motel/hotel soap ive ever used. Just really liked this location.
Booked this hotel for the weekend that immediately follows thanksgiving day. This Super 8 had by far the lowest rates in the entire Danbury area. Overall the hotel was very nice considering the cheap rates that I paid. The front desk was very polite and willing to help with any problems you may have. I originally booked the room for 2 nights but I wanted to extend the booking 1 more night. The front desk said they couldn't extend the booking because I had booked it through expedia. I explained that I didn't want to rebook it because I would have to check out and then check back in, and receive a new room. The man who was helping me did everything he could to ensure that they could extend my booking but still stay in the same room to make it less of a hassle for me.The rooms were large and spacious and had a fridge and a microwave and a large window that you can open. I booked the room with the spacious king sized bed which proved to be very comfortable. The bathroom was very large and very clean. The updated showers had fantastic water pressure and even had like 8 different massage settings. The maids did an excellent job to ensure that the room was very clean. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel based on how cheap their rates are and how nice of a place it is.
The room was clean and the staff were attentive and polite. However, I could hear everything from the hallway and the near by rooms pretty clearly. I didn't say anything to the desk staff until I was checking out, to which I was told that I should've said something and they would've moved us to another room. So I'm partly at fault for not saying anything. Other than that, I had a decent experience.
It's a super 8 so you know what you're buying but I loved that the non smoking rooms were actually non smoking and didn't smell like smoke like many other non smoking rooms I've stayed in before. The breakfast was the standard brown foods but still nice to have. The front desk was very kind.
